Sarvam is a forthcoming Indian Tamil film that stars Arya and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles, whilst, Telugu actor J. D. Chakravarthy and Malayalam actor, Indrajith play other prominent roles.Directed by Vishnuvardhan, who earlier directed hits like Arinthum Ariyamalum (2005) and Billa (2007), the film is currently in its filming stage and is expected to release in 2009. Audio got released on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2009.

Initially, the project should start in 2006 and it was cited that Surya after his marriage will pair up with Telugu actress Ileana in Vishnuvardhan's Sarvam. But reports say Ileana's demand was too high and hence, she was dropped and Nila and Anushka Shetty were approached and the latter got the role since Nila demanded too much as well.
However, the project didn't take off as planned and Vishnuvardhan restarted his Sarvam 2 years later after completing and releasing his Billa,replacing the lead couple by Arya and Trisha Krishnan. Reports suggest that the initial script may have changed, too, to suit the lead actors.
The antagonist role was first offered to Arjun Sarja, who fearing of his image, rejected the role, as later did "two leading actors" as well as Mohan Lal. The role later went to Kannada actor Upendra,who did a negative role in the Tamil film Sathyam at the same time. Eventually Visnuvardhan roped in Telugu actor J. D. Chakravarthy replacing Upendra as the antagonist.
