Malai Malai is the movie directed by A. Venkatesh who lately directed Vaada. This film has caught public attention for publicizing Arun Vijay’s Parkour style stunts like Daniel Craig in the opening scenes of Casino Royale.

Earlier Malai Malai’s photo shoot was held in the islands of Thailand and the shooting began in January. Dr. Mohan, Vijay Kumar, A. Venkatesh, Arun Vijay, Vedhika and Mani Sharma were present at the launch of film.

The hero and the villain in this film are as strong as mountains and the two ‘Malai’ in the title refers to them. The Malai Malai features sizzler Vedhika, who put up aphrodisiacal show in Muni, Kaalai and Sakkarakatti, will be doing the role opposite Arun.

Prabhu, Prakashraj, Santhanam and Ganja Karuppu will be seen in salient roles.

Pooja was supposed to play heroine, but she opted out. When filmmaker approached heroines to act in the films, a majority of them were against the offer as they felt acting with Arun Vijay will do good-for-naught.
Mani Sharma has composed music for Malai Malai.
